Anthony Braxton

Noticed lots of Anthony Braxton on LastFm recently, worth checking out as his CDs are quite thin on the ground, have a listen before you purchase online perhaps (can be pricy).

A current favourite is 'Prenumbra for woodwind(s) and bass(es) 4+2' from the album 'ABCD' with Chris Dahlgren, you can listen here..

A link to the album (only from the U.S.A, none in stock in the U.K apparently)

I am always drawn to Braxton`s low frequency focused compositions for some reason, like 'Goodbye Pork Pie Hat' from the album 'What`s New In The Tradition'
